How is my personal data collected?

  1. If you visit the Websites, IT data concerning your visit is collected automatically, in particular:
    1. IP address,
    2. type of operating system,
    3. browser type.
  1. The fact of visiting our Website alone does not require you to provide any other information or personal data.

  2. The collection of other data is carried out voluntarily by other means, e.g. telephone, fax, e-mail, newsletter subscription form, purchase or use of the contact form only if you wish to provide us with such data, for example to receive an offer, or to subscribe to the newsletter or make a complaint. By these means, you can provide us with your personal data, such as:
    1. first name and surname,
    2. e-mail address,
    3. telephone number,
    4. address of residence or delivery address
    5. company data
    6. login name
    7. data for complaint processing.

  4. In summary, we may collect and further process your personal data for the following purposes:
    1. to answer your inquiries (if you have called or written to us inquiring about an offer and/or asking for an offer to be prepared);
    2. marketing of your own products (if you are our Customer, we can process your data for marketing purposes as part of the so-called legitimate interest; on the same basis, we use remarketing tools based on cookies, in other cases, our marketing activity is based on your consent);
    3. to send the newsletter – if you agreed to it;
    4. to conduct recruitment – if you sent us your candidacy;
    5. to process your complaint, if you lodged one;
    6. to execute your order made in one of our online stores.

Time of storage and processing of your data

  1. If you send us an inquiry via the contact form, your data is stored and processed for the time necessary to answer and solve your problem.
  2. If you make a purchase in our online store, your data is stored and processed for the period of time until our legal obligation to process your data ceases to exist and until the possibility of pursuing claims related to the contract concluded by the store by any of the parties ceases.
  3. If you subscribe to our newsletter, your data will be stored and processed until you withdraw your consent to receive the newsletter from us.
  4. If you make a complaint, we will store and process it until we resolve your case and consider that we no longer need the data for the purposes of a legitimate interest.
  5. If you send us your CV, it will be stored and processed for current and future recruitments, but no longer than 3 years.
  6. Remember that you can write to us at iodo@lakma.com at any time to delete your personal data.

How do we collect data for the purpose of subscription to the newsletter?

  1. If you subscribe to the newsletter and agree to receive it, we only ask for your e-mail address to which we will send information.
  2. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the footer of each newsletter.
  3. In order to retrieve information about which content of our messages you read and which messages are of no interest to you, we use software that enbles the analysis of such data. Your personal data collected in this way is not transferred to other entities, except the company operating our Website and the companies operating the servers for the above purposes.

How do we collect data through the contact form?

  1. If you want to contact us via the contact form, we only need your first name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number and, in the case of recruitment, your CV and/or cover letter.
  2. If you send us an inquiry or offer, we process your data only to respond to your inquiry.
  3. If you send us your CV, we store and process it only for current and future recruitment.

How do we collect data through the execution of an order in an online store?

  1. If you want to make a purchase in our online store, we need your first name, surname, e-mail address, delivery address, and telephone number.
  2. Furthermore, if you decide to sign up in our store, we will process and store your login name.
  3. We also collect data on your purchase history for analytical purposes.

How do we automatically collect personal data? What are cookies?

  1. As we have already mentioned, we automatically collect some of your data when you visit our Website. This data is collected through the so-called Cookies.
  2. Cookies are files sent to your computer or other device while you are browsing the Website.
  3. Cookies allow us to remember and check your preferences. This allows us, among other things, to improve your search results and ensure the accuracy of the information you display.
  4. Cookies do not make any modifications or changes to the device or software that is installed on your device.

What other technologies do we use to track the actions taken on the website?

  1. Google Analytics (cookies) – website statistics analysis
    • Google Analytics uses "cookies" technology to help analyse the sources of traffic and how visitors use the Website.
    • Google collects data obtained from the placement of cookies on devices and uses this information to create reports as well as to provide other services related to the traffic and use of the Internet.
    • Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law or where such third parties process the information on behalf of Google.
    • This data is merely material for statistical analysis and system error correction mechanisms, and therefore the data from cookies are in no way combined with any other data you provide us with.
  2. Google AdWords (cookies)
    • Google AdWords uses "cookies" technology, that is text files placed on your device to remember which websites were visited from your device.
    • Google collects data obtained from the placement of cookies on devices on its servers and uses this information to display advertisements on other sites you visit.
    • We, as advertisers using Google services, do not have access to the data from cookies stored on your device, but we can commission advertisements to recipients of our choice, e.g. to all persons who have visited our website in the last 7 days.
    • Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law or where such third parties process the information on behalf of Google.
    • This data constitutes merely statistical material for us, and we only commission advertisements based on aggregate criteria (to specific target groups and not to a specific user), so the data from cookies are in no way combined with any other data you provide us with.
  3. Facebook conversion pixel
    • We use the so-called "Facebook conversion pixel" of the Facebook social network on our website in order to manage ads on Facebook and Instagram as well as to conduct remarketing activities.
    • We receive exclusively statistical data from Facebook without reference to specific people. Thus, we can check the effectiveness of ads on Facebook and Instagram for statistical and market research purposes.     • The Facebook pixel is designed to track the visits and behaviour of users moving around the Website. This enables the targeting of advertisements to those people who visited the Website (remarketing) or the individual subpages of the Website.
    • This data constitutes merely material for statistical analysis, and we only commission advertisements based on aggregate criteria (to specific target groups and not to a specific user), so the data from the Facebook pixel are in no way combined with any other data you provide us with.

What are the purposes of using personal data not originating from Cookies? Are they transferred to anyone?

  1. The personal data you provide to us is used for:
    • marketing activities,
    • receipt of your potential reservations and requests,
    • the recruitment process, if you provided your personal information for this purpose,
    • order execution in the online store,
    • complaints procedures.
  2. If necessary to for the performance of the above-mentioned actions, your data may be transferred to other entities. Such transfer can only take place with our consent, on the basis of a concluded contract and only to those who ensure that your data will be properly protected and processed in accordance with the law. This means that your personal data is transferred to:
    • the company that operates our Website,
    • the hosting provider that maintains our Website on its servers,
    • the IT company that maintains a backup site,
    • HR agencies, if we commission the conduct of a given recruitment process to them,
    • delivery companies,
    • the company that carries out the analysis and sends out the newsletter.
  3. We do not transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area.
  4. If you consent to our use of your personal data to receive commercial information (newsletter), your data will be collected and used for marketing purposes, i.e. to send you marketing information.
  5. If you are not our Customer and you have not given your consent for us to send you marketing information by e-mail, text messages or phone, then the personal data you provide to us (e.g. to our employees or consultants) directly, e.g. by phone, may only be used by us to contact you and provide you with the necessary assistance as well as to conclude a contract between us and you or your company.
  6. If you are our Customer, we may contact you within the framework of the so-called legitimate interest to promote our products. However, if you do not wish to be contacted by phone or e-mail, we can only send you written material via traditional mail.

Do I have access to my personal data? Can I revoke my prior consent to receive commercial information?

  1. Remember that you have access to your personal data at any time. You can receive a free copy of your personal data that we hold.
  2. You can also always receive information from us on:
    • the purpose of processing of your data,
    • what kind of data we process,
    • to whom we transfer your data,
    • how long we plan to store your data,
  3. You have the right to:
    • correct your data,
    • delete or restrict your data if they are no longer needed for the purposes for which you have provided them to us, if you have revoked your consent to their processing or if you object to the processing of your data for marketing purposes.
  4. You may revoke your consent to receive commercial information by e-mail and/or to receive marketing phone calls at any time. You can revoke your consent by sending an email to: iodo@lakma.com. The footer of each message we send in our newsletter includes a deactivation link to unsubscribe from the mailing list.
  5. You may also object completely to the processing of your data for marketing purposes.

Is my personal data protected?

  1. Your data is protected by us through the application of organisational and technical measures, necessary and appropriate to prevent the risk of violation of your rights or freedoms.
  2. In particular, we protect your personal data against unauthorised access, as well as against damage or loss.
  3. The security of data transmission is ensured by using the SSL (Secure Socket Layer v3) transmission protocol. The SSL consists in encoding the data before it is sent from your browser and decoding it after it safely reaches the server operating the Website.

Final provisions.

  1. The principles set out in the Privacy Policy are governed by the Polish law.
  2. You can always complain about our handling of your personal information. The complaint shall be submitted to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
